Engagement Session | Rachel + Kobus

There was so much to love about this slow morning engagement session! I met Rachel and Kobus at Ascension Coffee in Fort Worth, Texas to start their session. After drinking coffee in their favorite booth, we took a short trip to the Trinity River Duck Pond. This is always a personal favorite of mine as its a great way to wrap up a slow morning walking the short trail and watching all the ducks swim around. This is such a sweet location that always finds a way to bring out the youthfullness in people.

The two lovers are scheduled to be married in an imtimate ceremony this November. After meeting in college, Rachel & Kobus found love at first sight and have been inseperable ever since. A question I love asking my couples is what is love to you? Rachel’s response was “this is how we would describe love. Love is the voluntary act of sacrifice for someone else. It's giving someone your time or attention. There is a certain joy and peace in love. You can feel it when you wrap your arms around them after a long day. There is comfort in love. You can find it in a homemade meal or cup of coffee. Love is where you long to be, yet you must be intentional to live in love.”
