Wedding at Family Estate | Rachel + Kobus

Rachel + Kobus’ special day at their families estate in Duncanville, Tx was the backyard wedding of my dreams. The couple themselves are very similar to paris and I so immediately we felt a strong connect to these two; Rachel and I even had classes together in college and didn’t even know it. I photographed their engagement session as well and everytime I get to work with them, they are a constant reminder that there are kind people in this world who I truly will be together until death.

Everything about there special day was tailored to their love story and I couldn’t have been more honored to have had the opportunity to film and photograph their special day. From the “how about it” sign that kobus used to propose to Rachel to the heirloom jewelry Rachel wore, every little detail was so personal to them. Kobus’s family flew in from Africa to attend the ceremony and watching them say their goodbyes before flying home that night was so heartbreaking.
