Engagement Session | Grace + Logan

I photographed these two at The Boardwalk at Lake Weatherford. This is apparently the longest floating boardwalk in the whole United States’ and it’s in Texas not by a large body of water. I didn’t believe it at first but once I scouted the location I understood. Despite its plasticity, the location is very full of fauna and wildlife.

Grace and Logan were in town visiting family when they reached out about doing a session. My husband, Paris, had went to college with Grace so it was nice to catch up and see how life had been treating them. These two are getting hitched in August and I couldn’t be happier for them.

I am constantly striving to document couples sessions that are unposed and filled with raw connection. The idea of switching from the normal super posed sessions to a date inspired session is usually pretty hard for people. Grace and Logan understood the assignment on this shoot. Their love for eachother is so strong and you can feel it in every image. The Super 8 from this session is being developed and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with them.
